One often assumes that the truth is simple and wisdom can be summarized in a few words. What we forget, however, is that we tend to change the meaning of these expressions due to their long usage.

Many would intuitively read aforementioned statement as: “It glitters, thus it must not be gold”. How wrong can we be sometimes? Are we that quick in our judgement?
